June Project
POJ volunteers helped spruce up the POJ kid’s space on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The Power of Joy Kids use this donated space in Beachwood for all types of activities including art, music, games, and many other activities. Our volunteers replaced ceiling tiles with water damage and painted the craft room a cheery yellow to brighten the walls. Thanks to all of our volunteers who gave up their time and brought tools to help make a better place for the kids. Our volunteers included Gayle Booth, David Croasdaile, Kate Frank, Beth Furlong, Cathy Griffin, Mike McClain, Sharon Munson, Greg Randall, Shelly Wangler and Ellen Weaver. As usual, we headed over to a new place for Happy Hour at the newest Heck’s location in Beachwood in the same plaza after the project.
